A big thanks to HEYMISSPICKLE for reminding me that Apple Butter exists!
Here’s what you’ll need:
3 lbs of apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3 tbs honey
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp all spice
Crock pot
Throw all of your sliced apples into your crock pot and set it on low. Combine your dry ingredients and pour them over the apples, add your honey, and mix it all together.
Let that baby cook for 12 hours, make sure you check on it, stir it occasionally, and mush up the apples as they cook.
I stored mine in mason jars and then canned them, but if your not into the difficult process then just freeze them or store them in your fridge!
Its a perfect gift, I sent one to Sandra my lovely pen pal.

Now this stuff is so good, but I can only eat bagels and toast so many times…so what else can I do with apple butter? I came up with this little treat and Marli loved it!
Just unroll a package of crescent rolls and spread apple butter on them. Roll them and cook following the package directions. Simple and yummy for breakfast!

And now here’s a little insta-lately update!
Someone has four teeth now! // enjoyed my apple butter for breakfast // worked on new tags for GypsyBeee Vintage // Marli snuggling her pillow pet // still working on my makeup tutorial, making videos is hard! // someone thinks she’s invisible // snuggling (on my new up-cycling project) // made the living room into a bed and had a dance party.
