I hope that all of my U.S. readers (and whoever else celebrated) had a fantastic Thanksgiving! I’ve had a pretty busy week around the hive.
On tuesday one of my best friends came into town, so we had a girls day to celebrate. Kelsey has been my best friend as long as I’ve known my husband (seven years), so she’s more like a sister to me than anything. Since shes moved away (a whole hour drive, horrible I know) we’ve been trying to get in as much hang time as we can when she comes to town. We went and saw Breaking Dawn Part 2 together, and I cried like a baby, imagine that.
It was my son’s first birthday on Wednesday, so there was plenty to celebrate on Thanksgiving Day! He started walking right before his birthday so it was very cute to see him crusin’ around during all the festivities. I just can’t believe he is no longer a tiny baby. He got plenty of toys and had so much fun playing with his sister!
My mom made the fantastic cake, and he loved eating it!
After we ate and Hunter got cleaned off we helped my mom put up her Christmas tree. Marli had so much fun getting out all the ornaments and hanging them up.
All and all it’s been a great week. I love the holidays!
