On today’s Kitsch Krazy I’m obsessing over embroidery! I love needlework, especially when it’s put out on display in a home. I have several pillows and pictures littering my home! I’ve done my fair share of needle point and embroidery but let’s face it, it takes a lot of time! If you’re looking for some pretty embroidery to show off in your home but don’t know how to or don’t have the time the perfect solution is vintage pieces. I love embroidery, but it does take aaaggeesss! I have this one piece which I've been doing for about 6 months now haha. I keep forgetting about it, then picking it up again and having another crack. It's not even that big, but it's detailed and it's taking me ages! I don't own any vintage embroidery, but these are making me want to spend up big!
Isn't it terrible?! I have three hoops going and they are all less than halfway done. No instant gratification at all! Haha I like doing my own pieces, but sometimes when I'm impatient the vintage stuff is an easy fix!
I love all of them! I'm pretty sure I would suck at doing it myself! Lol the you and me pillowcases are my favorite!!!
Gosh, these are such a DELIGHT!!!
I especially love the great yellow flowers on the cushion. I often snap up embroidery from second hand shops, going for a song.
