It’s been awhile since I did a post in my style icon series! Today I have a real treat, one of my favorite models/icons of the 60’s and 70’s! Uschi Obermaier is a beautiful German model and actress turned jewelry designer who bumped elbows with some of the greatest revolutionary voices of a generation. She is a true free spirit, most photos you can find of her she is in the nude, I did try to stay tasteful though! She mingled with the leader of Kommune 1 and was seen on the arms of Keith Richards, Mick Jaggar, and even Jimi Hendrix. She toured with The Stone’s and then took a six year road trip around the entire world, what a life!!! Recently I stumbled upon the movie Eight Miles High that was based off of her autobiography and it was an incredible film, but not for those who hate subtitles or nudity, It’s all in German and it gets pretty naked. None the less, I love Uschi’s care free bohemian style, her amazing head of hair, and let’s be honest, she’s drop dead gorgeous!
