Holy smokes guys, I’ve been gone awhile! I can officially quit complaining about moving and packing because I’m finally in my new house. It has been such a relief to be in our new home and start this next chapter of our lives, it feels like a thousand pounds has been lifted off of my shoulders. We’ve put in a lot of work and had plenty of sleepless nights over the past week but I am so pleased by the amount of progress so far. Everything is coming along so beautifully. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family, they spent days with us painting and moving (even on Father’s Day) with no complaints. That’s true love people!
Now that things are settling down and we’ve gotten the main parts of the house painted and unpacked I’m finally seeing my vision come to life. All of my hoarding and collecting surely paid off and I think the hubby has come to the realization that I’m not just a crazy person with an addiction, all of it actually had a purpose! We still have a lot more work to do, the kids rooms are an absolute disaster but I know that it will all come in time. I’m trying not to sweat the small stuff and just soak in the glory that is our first home as a family. I’m looking forward to the day where paint cans and brushes aren’t littering the counters and floors but the progress we made in the last week is pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
Thank you all for being so supportive and loving during this process. Many of you have reached out to me on Instagram and Twitter, showering us with so many lovely comments and they are so appreciated. I’m so glad to be back in this little space doing what I love. Being gone for so long has definitely made me realize how much I love blogging and sharing all my little adventures with you. I cannot wait until things are a little more settled and I can get back into my old routine again!

Everything looks so adorable! Good to hear that your husband realized that your collecting paid off. I'm hoping that my mother realizes the same thing when I get my own apartment! Glad to see you back! 🙂
