T.G.I.F everyone! I’m so glad that it’s finally the weekend and I can start to work on some fun projects! Today I’m showing off all of the little crafty things I’ll be accomplishing over the next few days. I’ve been putting a lot of drawing and painting time in and I’ve really been missing my yarn stash so I decided to take the weekend to finish up some projects and start a few that I’ve been excited to begin. Fall will be here before we know it and it’s always a good idea to start stocking up on holiday gifts and scarves for the season.

I’ve been working on knitting a cowl with the sunshine-esque hand spun wool I received in the mail quite awhile ago. I love the color and texture of this yarn, it’s so beautiful and soft. I’m debating on whether to keep this piece or throw it in the shop, I guess when it’s complete I will know.
I’m also going to start knitting up the thick merino that my husband calls Mint Chocolate Chip. I’m really excited to work with this yarn because the texture is gorgeous and it knits up rather quickly. Perfect for a weekend project!
I’ll be getting my dip dye skills on at some point over the weekend. In my last Whimsey Box we received tote bags to dye and I think it will transform nicely into a new yarn bag for my bedroom projects. Anything to keep me organized! If it turns out nicely I’ll share a little tutorial on it!
I’ve also been working hard on a commissioned art piece and I’ll be sketching up some different layouts in my free time. I’m so in love with this project and I cannot wait to see the finished product and share it with you all. All I can reveal is that it’s kind of a big deal! Yay!

What are you doing this weekend? Do you have any adventures or crafty things planned?

Looks like you've got lots to keep you busy! ♥ I love the wool you featured, it's a great colour.
Gorgeous mint yarn! Love the color. And super excited to hear more about this project! Sounds like good… wait, amazing, things are in store for you :]
Oh my word I love that minty coloured yarn! I hope you have a lovely creative weekend 🙂

Both yarns are so gorgeous! Mint chocolate chip is exactly what I thought when I saw the mint one on Instagram. Dip dying a tote bag is a lovely idea! Fingers crossed that it goes well and you'll share a tutorial. xx
